MRM Racing: Shoot day

Another client for work experience is MRM race team. I was asked if I wanted to tag along for this day shoot by a fellow student. The task in hand was to gather promo material for MRM race team. The day was based at Castle Combe race circuit, of which was a 3 and a hald hour drive from my house. I left my house at 6am to get to Josh's house, where Brad would pick us both up and then meet up with Nichole and off to Castle Combe. We met up with the MRM race team guys and they laid out instructions for the day. To begin with we were taking b-roll of the team getting together, and also taking footage of the cars whilst stationary. The MRM race team also wanted footage of the team working together, so we filmed them changing aspects of the tyres, as well as checking pressure and other car related checks. The team then split up, with Brad and Nichole filming the team orientated side of the day, and me and Josh filming the MRM cars as they went around Castle Combe circuit. Me and Josh would walk to a spot and then film the car going around certain parts of the circuit, and then move onto another position. The day ended at around 3pm, and I got home at 6:30. It was a new experience for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed the structure of the day and the freedom we had to film.
