My name is Miles Stewart, and I am a content creator, specialising in video production, as well as illustration and editing. My content alias is called Ravin’ Gavin, of which is a group containing me and my friends, with the goal of all becoming content creators. In the future I would love to be making music, music videos, short movies, comedy sketches and many other forms of cinematic video. I enjoy the planning stage of cinematic videos and other challenges, as the thought of the production, especially the end product, makes me very excited and committed to create brilliance. I take a lot of inspiration from YouTubers as well as music artists. Channels such as Sugar Pine 7, Cow Chop, The Yogscast and Smosh have all inspired me to create content, as well as gaining excitement and passion from watching a longitude of music videos. Watching music videos are one of favourite past times, as the range of medium used for these videos is monumental, and you never know what you are going to watch, but the production for most of these videos are similar to large scale movies. I also think that music videos are a great media to express yourself. I have enjoyed my first 2 years at university, and thoroughly look forward to the third year at Plymouth, where I hope to improve my skills even further. I have created short movies, music videos, animations, documentaries and YouTube styled videos in my time at Bridgwater and Taunton College, as well as gaining valuable skills in the media genre, such as editing, website design and videography.
